Event: SFAS 2006
Yesterday was the event that i've been practising for for the past 3 weeks plus plus i think. Even when assignments were flooding in and had high fever, cough, sore throat, lost my voice, still i pulled through for this event to happen. Eleh talk like i was a soloist like that. Was singing in a choir actually. But it was fantastic. Surprised myself by getting involved in something of this nature. I may look like an extreme extrovert but deeep deeeeep down inside i'm actually kinda shy. Need lotsa reassurance for a lot of things. I have no regrets joining this whatsoever. Met so many new ppl. Was truly a humbling experience. Its about serving and not being served. For once i was not thinking about myself, like would i sound good? would i embarras myself? It was about putting on the very best show for the audience to enjoy, putting on a terrific show to show the world that christians are NOT dull/half dead ppl that sways their body while humming hallelujah hallelujah .. We're a bunch of FUN ppl man!! The show started with Francis singing that Nick Lachey song. Sounded fantastic but then the crowd ruined the song. All i could hear was "WOOOO" "FRANCIS FRANCIS!!!!" urghh .. i wanna hear him sing la for petes sake. Next up was a ballet + hip hop dance. Choon weh. I can NVR dance like that. Only dance i can do is the belly dance cause when i hit my tummy the fats will all shake and i will automatically move. Hehe. Then we had our ZPH very own STOMP! consisting of pots, pans, water glasses, brooms and a rubber chicken that squeeks. Next was CHOIR!!!! we did a mini skit and sang somewhere over the rainbow, a moment like this and i believe i can fly. I was at the front row yay!! The rest of the acts were AWESOME! especially the dance. Took so many pictures i can dedicate a whole blog to it i tell u. But i compiled and categorized the pics into different segments. So free leh me. Cause next week is a HOLIDAY!!! Hurray! Sighs. Its actually a "holiday". Still have reports and bla bla stuff due. Craps. ENjoy the pics!
